Then, set off on a 2-hour paddle through the pristine waters of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay, or Kilisut Harbor, depending on conditions. Glide through calm, protected waters with panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, rugged shorelines, and untouched forests. A Discover Pass (or day pass). Required to park within Fort Flagler Historic State Park. Passes can be purchased at the self-serve kiosk at the beach near the Lower Camp Area. There is ample parking in the Lower Camp Area of the park, within walking distance of our kayak station.Important Information
- Ideal for beginner and intermediate paddlers. Calm and protected waters. Please note that everyone will be in high-quality tandem sea kayaks. If you'd like to kayak only with members of your household, simply book as part of an even-numbered group. Otherwise, you'll have the opportunity to make a new friend and be paired with another customer or guide! The cockpit opening is 16.5' wide, which is slightly narrower than the average airline seat. Additionally, the combined weight of both paddlers in a kayak should not exceed 460 lbs.
