Description

Escape the crowds and discover the heart of American democracy on our exclusive, semi-private tour of Capitol Hill. With a maximum of just 8 guests, this isn't your typical sightseeing trip; it's an intimate, in-depth journey through four of the nation's most important buildings in four hours. Enjoy a relaxed pace and personal attention from your expert guide. We handle all the logistics, including reserved tickets, so you can simply arrive and immerse yourself in the experience. Your adventure begins outside the magnificent Library of Congress. Our first stop is the majestic U.S. Supreme Court. Stand in the halls where landmark decisions have shaped the nation as your guide reveals the history of the institution, its legendary justices, and the secrets hidden within its marble walls. Next, we’ll step into the world of the Bard at the Folger Shakespeare Library, a cultural treasure nestled on Capitol Hill. Here, you'll discover the world's largest collection of Shakespeare's printed works and marvel at a stunning recreation of an Elizabethan theatre. Prepare to be awestruck as we enter the Library of Congress, the largest library on Earth. Your guide's reserved passes grant you access to witness the breathtaking grandeur of the Main Reading Room from a scenic overlook and see the personal library of Thomas Jefferson—the very collection that rebuilt the institution after it was burned in the War of 1812. Finally, like a true DC insider, we'll take a secure underground tunnel to our last stop: the U.S. Capitol Building. Your guide will share fascinating, little-known stories about this iconic symbol of freedom before providing you with pre-reserved passes for the official tour of the Capitol's historic spaces. You'll explore the Crypt, stand beneath the soaring dome of the Rotunda, and walk through National Statuary Hall. This is more than a tour; it's a seamless, stress-free, and unforgettable VIP experience. Book your spot today and see Capitol Hill the way it was meant to be seen!
