Description

Take a tour that lets you immerse yourself in the park. Our guides are master naturalists, botanists, geologists, historians, and - most importantly - relentlessly curious! Today, you’ll head to the coast for a visit to stunning destinations including the Kalaloch beaches and then the Hoh rainforest. Your group may choose to focus on lots of short stops such as the Tree of Life, tidepool viewing, and Hall of Mosses. Alternatively, your group may opt for a longer rainforest hike along the Hoh River Trail winding through giant old growth forests of Douglas Fir, Sitka Spruce, and Western Hemlock trees. Along the way, your naturalist guide will share stories of the Hoh tribe, history of the logging industry, and fun facts about the flora and fauna surrounding you. Our guides are not just experts; they are passionate storytellers eager to share the wonders of Olympic National Park. From the rugged coastline to the towering peaks of the Olympic Mountains, your tour promises a day of discovery and connection.

Important Information

• Participants should comfortably handle a moderate walk of 4-6 miles throughout the day, with moderate elevation changes, to make the most of their adventure. We recommend bringing a packed lunch, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, day pack, layers to adjust to changing temperatures, camera, gratuity for your guide. Please pack a lunch to bring with you. Your guide will choose the perfect spot for a scenic picnic. We’ll also have snacks and a selection of beverages available, but feel free to bring along any personal favorites you might crave during the day. For an authentic and personalized experience, our small-group tours are limited to 8 guests, and require a minimum of 4 guests to run. You’re welcome to book solo or with a small party. If we fall below the minimum spots booked, registrants can opt for a private tour or receive a full refund—offering flexibility for your adventure plans. The tour will last about 6-8 hours.
